![]() I still want the Multicartes (or the organizer!) in black empreinte leather. I bought my current Louboutin card holder to have something while I was looking for something else, and sadly I feel the same about this. I bought it because it looked like a very functional product that suits my needs and I like the monogram canvas. I want to absolutely love this card holder, but in truth this is yet another card holder that isn’t the one I want. Seeing as the double stitch isn’t present on the auth I have to dock half a point here as well (-0.5). I’ll update the rating if I manage to compare it to a friends auth Neverfull sometime soon. ![]() I’m quite sure the hue is a little different on the canvas (more cool toned) but seeing as I can’t compare my organizer and an auth organizer/bag side by side, I can’t really say anything more about it. If you look at the reference pictures and LV’s shots the alignment isn’t that precise so I’m happy about the way it looks. The alignment on the back of the organizer is great, actually. No points taken since I know the stamp can vary a bit from year to year. Happy about that! The vintage one’s have a thicker font than mine, but if you compare mine to the one on LV’s site the stamps look more alike. The ones in the reference video/pictures and on their site is made in France, which mine says as well. Don’t know if that applies to ”all their products” or the pocket organizer specifically. I have never handled the auth so I can’t compare more than what I can see from pictures online (pictures of what I suppose are auths).Īccording to LV’s site the organizer is made either in USA, France or Spain. It does have a double stitch on the back and there’s also a white dot along the stitching (you can see it in the same picture as the double stitch), but that’s about it (-0.5).I’m sure my quality rating will be different after some use, but right now I can’t see any other faults! It also crackles a bit when you handle it which I also hope will go away. It is a bit hard but I’m sure that’ll go away with usage. It actually smells kind of sweet when you sniff it and I love that it won’t stink up my jacket or bag. It’s not dry (surprised!) and doesn’t have a factory smell. I think if it’d be too light that would give it away as a rep. ![]() This product feels very nice and has comfortable weight to it. Reference: Video review:, pictures here: and here: Item: Louis Vuitton Pocket Organizer in Monogram Canvas She contacted the shipping company (which were the ones who wrote the slip in the first place) and they managed to change it to the correct name in their data base. I tried to explain that the surname was missing letters and it won’t reach me if it’s sent out like that. She replied, again, with the same picture of the shipping slip and I, again, said it was the wrong name. I told her as much and once again spelled out my last name. March 5th: Alisa hadn’t answered regarding the name, so I asked her again, to which she replied my contact info and another picture of the shipping slip, which was now changed but still had the wrong last name. Half of my last name was cut off and missing, so I told her it was wrong. March 4th: She sent me the shipping slip which had the wrong name on it. Payed via PayPal, sent my adress transaction done. She didn’t have it in black empreinte so I settled for the classic monogram. ![]() Asked about the pocket organizer colours she had access to, and she showed me the classic damier and monogram canvas colours. It’s more of a wallet and too big for me, so it was a pass. March 1st: Factory photos revealed it was the LV Business Card Holder (que sad music). Asked for factory photos because I’m forever a sceptic. She said she had it (!!!) and I was ecstatic. Price: 390 originally with 10% off + 135 for DHL Express shipping = 468CNY total, or $70 USDįebruary 29th: Inquired about the LV Multicartes to see if it was available anywhere (hope is the last thing that leaves you, ladies). Finally I decided on a simple classic - the card holder in monogram canvas. I’ ve specifically been looking for a rep of LV’s Multicartes since last spring, but it’s not repped. I literally hurt my nails, fingers and hands every time I reach for it… The perfect reason for a new one, if you ask me! I’ve been using this from Christian Louboutin (TB find) for a long time but it’s very impractical with all the spikes. I’ve been on the hunt for a new card holder for over 1.5 years.
